DASHCAM
This is some of the footage I made while driving. This was achieved using a GoPro and fixing it to the windshield using a suction cup. all content edited with Adobe Premiere.
This is me driving out of Tuscany, Calgary, on my way to Bowmont Park. I am in the process of moving, and I describe my experiences living there in Tuscany, which overall was not a positive experience. I do some adjustments on the front of my car around 50 seconds in so the hood isn’t visible.
The following two videos document my drive across the Canadian Prairies.
First, from Calgary to Moose Jaw…
…and then, from Moose Jaw to Kenora. Some footage is missing between Regina and Winnipeg, and then again just past Ontario.
These show me driving on Ontario Highway 17 around....
Kenora (principally on Hwy 17)…
Dryden ( again Hwy 17…apologies for the streaks, that was leftover water from cleaning the windshield I didn’t notice)…
Thunder Bay (going through to Wacky’s on Hwy 102 and various back roads, then through Cumberland Street to Hwy 17 making a wrong turn at Arundel Street along the way, and then to the Terry Fox Memorial)…
Wawa (looking for a gas station along Hwy 101, and concluding at the Wawa Goose)…
Echo Bay (Hwy 17)…
and Sudbury, during extreme smoke conditions, first to the nickel (the reason for the slowdown is because a member of the party got stuck at the red light) and then to a gas station at Regent Street (where I travel along Southview Drive and all it’s speed bumps), and then on to HWY 69/ Hwy 400.
...and finally, the full trip.
This video shows a six day trip confined to just over 2 minutes and 5 seconds. I took 125 videos, and took a 1 second clip from each, to create this video.
